Hello, Babes! My name is Sophia Obyageri-akuOkigweh. The name “Oby” is from my Nigerian heritage, meaning “come join the wealth, never want for anything in life.” That’s just a little bit about myself and where the name originated from. I founded ObyGirl Hair Boutique back in 2019. I wanted this brand to make women of color feel beautiful whether you are rocking long tresses to your butt or a short cute pixie cut…YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! Our hair line specializes and focuses on quality, but affordable luxury extensions. My desire is to boost the confidence of all women that come in contact with my company and to also make ALL women feel fierce and unstoppable! I love all of you so very much.
